There were two trophies each for pan-African consultancy APO Group (which has its African offices in Senegal); Gong Xommunications, a UK firm with an office in Kenya; Portland; Redhouse Group of Kenya; Retroviral of South Africa; and international agency WE Communications.
WE Communications won in the Travel & Leisure category with client FlySafair and the CEO of the Year category with client Vodacom. WE also took home several Certificates of Excellence in Business-to-Business Marketing, Technology, Public Education, Cause-related Marketing, Employee Communications and Media Relations.
