Marcus Loh Joins WE as Regional Senior Client Director in Singapore
SINGAPORE – 27 MARCH 2020 — WE Communications (WE), a leading independent global integrated communications firm, today announced the appointment of Marcus Loh as Regional Senior Client Director to its growing Technology practice in Asia Pacific. Loh, based in Singapore, joins the agency from Monday, 30 March 2020, and will report to Sara Pereira, Regional Technology Lead, APAC.
“Marcus is a seasoned communicator with a strong understanding of where our industry is headed,” said Pereira. “In the midst of industry disruption, clients in the technology sector need strong communications leadership and Marcus in his role as a trusted client adviser will help our clients navigate today’s ever-changing communications and business landscape.”
Loh brings more than 15 years of experience in strategic communications, brand strategy and marketing, spanning both in-house and agency roles to his role at WE. As the former Director of Communications, APAC at Tableau Software, Loh headed the company’s public affairs, media and analyst relations, customer evidence and executive communication functions across the Asia Pacific. Before that, he served as VP of Marketing and Corporate Communications of the pan-Asian education group PSB Academy.

In addition to his role at WE, Loh serves as the President of the Institute of Public Relations in Singapore, a leading industry body for PR professionals. He is also a Fellow of the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre’s Company of Good and an Adjunct Advisor at the Singapore Management University – UOB Asian Enterprise Institute.
At WE, Loh will partner with Pereira to manage the agency’s regional Technology client portfolio and support the continued expansion of the regional practice.
Loh joins the agency following a string of senior appointments in Singapore, including Pereira, as well as the Singapore sector leads for its Corporate, Health and Technology practices late last year.
