Is your comms programme ready for GDPR?
Is your comms programme ready for GDPR?
With less than a month to go until the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is enforced, there is still much debate about how it will impact businesses.
Are you worried about what communicators need to do to avoid suffering the consequences of non-compliance and facing a substantial penalty of 4% of annual revenue/€20m?
We’d like to invite you to a breakfast panel at 8.30am on Tuesday 15th May at the WE offices in Covent Garden to discuss this further, ahead of the GDPR deadline.
Guest speakers include:
- Andrew Gould, National Cybercrime Programme Lead at National Police Chiefs' Council
- Ashley Hurst, Partner and Data Breach Specialist at law firm, Osborne Clarke
- Bryan Glick, Editor in Chief at Computer Weekly
- Gillian Edwards, Associate Partner and Crisis Specialist at Sermelo
- The panel will be moderated by Marcus Sorour, Head of Corporate at WE Communications
Discussion points will include:
- Key steps to GDPR comms preparation
- Implications for communications strategies
- Crisis planning
- Legal considerations and practical advice
Please feel free to respond to this invite with your GDPR questions and we’ll make sure they are addressed on the day.
